What is this???

I was at GW a while back and came across this cute little thing with a bird perched on top.  It has holes maybe for candles (don't really know).  Can you ladies help me find a purpose for it.  Maybe somewhere in the bathroom, laundry room or outside on the back porch.  Really just anywhere;)  I know ya'll will come up with some great ideas.

    I can't tell how big it is. Is it a toothbrush holder?
    Is it large enough to place cupcakes on it?

    Okay I just got back home and measured it. It's 11" tall 8.5" wide and the holes are ~1.5"

    My first thought was the holes are for colored eggs. Birds on branches ...eggs. I bet they would fit easily, so that's my answer and I'm sticking to it. I would have so bought it, if I had seen it at GW.

    Maybe it could hold little votive cups for tea lights? It sure is cute!

    hi! this makes me think that little tiny pots or glass votive type holders would hold little flower bouquets. also if the pots were painted white it would look sweet too. have fun!!
